La foce dei Tramonti campsite is family- managed. It has become with years a summer resort for many families who, year by year, come back here to spend a few weeks at the seaside, snapping some souvenir photos, memories of their holidays.

Snapshots which have the beach, the sea, the mouth of Sele river in the background. Along three shadowy tree-lined walks, 58 fully serviced pitches follow one another, peopled by families who want to leave the hustle and bustle behind in the summertime. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of a secluded setting and the cool breeze in the shade of some cluster pines, eucalypts, grapevine pergolas, oleanders.

The handy nearness of the sea, the suggestion of a river at its mouth: salty water and fresh one mix against a background of gorgeous sunsets which inspired the name of the campsite.

The sites are spacious and offer you plenty of room thanks to the right tree planting; standard sites and facilities to satisfy customers expectations.
On site a restaurant, a coffee bar and a small general stores open from June 17th until September 10th. From July 1st to August 31st , an able team of entertainers organizes for you some outdoor activities including sports competitions, morning exercises, dancing, games, evening entertainments and recreational activities for your children.

All year round the following facilities are available: the way down the beach, RV site (with washing-up sink, drinking water and a washing machine) a bowling green, a slipway, a five-a-side ground, a volleyball green, outdoor grills, boats and canoes for hire, fax service.

From the campsite you can make excursions to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Capri, the Amalfi coast and above all to the National Park of Cilento where there are many places of interest to visit, including picturesque country villages, old towns such as Vatolla, Agropoli, Ogliastro and Acciaroli and several other beautiful places.

If you are gourmets, visit the cows buffalo farm where you can see mozzarella processing and taste dairy produce( cows buffalo mozzarella, ice-cream and yoghurt). The campsite is in the regional nature reserve of Sele river, which you can visit by boat sailing directly from the campsite.

Take full advantages of your stay here and have a stroll round the famous archaeological site of Paestum: the magnificence of the temples will take your breath away!

By the sea there is a large cliff that is offered to camper vans.
On the cliff you can enjoy all the facilities and hospitality of the campsite, and we provide you with electricity.

In the small restaurant you can taste gastronomic specialities of the traditional cuisine which enhance our local products such as cows buffalo mozzarella PDO, buffalo meat, the fish, homemade pasta and the artichoke PGI of Paestum.

The traditional dishes are served with local extra-vergin olive oils and excellent wines of Cilento. Everyday vegetarian dishes of the Cilento cuisine are provided.

On Wednesday we serve the typical pizza of Cilento, baked (in the wood- burning oven) and flavoured with cows buffalo mozzarella and other local ingredients.
